In 2008, the U.S. Tennis Association, the governing body for tennis in the United States, developed an innovative program called QuickStart Tennis. QuickStart is a tennis instructional method designed to help give children a positive introduction to the game while eliminating common barriers that intimidate younger players.

By scaling down equipment and court sizes, QuickStart Tennis helps customize the tennis experience according to the individual child’s age and skill level. Simply put, it makes tennis easier to learn and play.

Sound familiar? I designed the WSTA System in a similar manner.

By adapting the way older players approach the game, and customizing techniques and strategies specifically for them, the WSTA System enables adults—whether they’ve been playing for years or just getting started—to play better, play pain free, and have more fun!

Just like the USTA’s QuickStart program adapts tennis instruction for kid’s bodies, WSTA simply teaches older people to play with the body they have rather than the body they once had.
