Tennis for Adults and the Winning Social Tennis for Adults System
Tennis for Adults is dedicated to those over 40 who want to continue to play the game they love without the pain associated with traditional methods. Developed by Bill Blair, a PTR certified tennis instructor. This system will improve your game AND do so while limiting the pain you experience after playing.
This site was developed for anyone over 40. It is for those who are just starting to play and want to find an easy system of learning tennis for the first time and want to be competitive with their family and friends. It is for those intermediate players who have been playing for years and are starting to notice those aches and pains the next morning. It is for the mature player who once was highly competitive, but now have younger "hearts' than knee. Its for players searching for a way to keep being competitive, yet reduce these pains.
We try to live by our mission of making tennis easy and enjoyable over 40. To do this, Bill developed books with techniques specifically for those of us over 40. We offer free guides and videos. We have rackets recommended for our customers. We even offer in our accessories section anything we think will help make your tennis experience better - from bags to training aides to vibration dampers designed to take a bit of the sting out of your joints. All to try to make tennis easy. We will help take the guess work out of some choices you have. We recommend specific rackets geared to our readers. We provide free grip sizing guides and tennis racket selection guides to make tennis easy for you.
For example, while we have available nearly 60 different rackets from Head, we narrow the list down to about 10. These ten represent what we feel are the best options for those over 40 - from the beginner to the intermediate player, from the 2.0 to the 4.5 player. We hope this site lives up to our mission of making tennis easy and enjoyable for those from 40 to 80, and maybe even beyond.
